Dell Technologies is looking for a Developer Experience DevOps Engineer to join its TechOps team in Bangalore. The ISG TechOps team plays a key role in driving operational excellence across DevSecOps, LabOps, tools, and strategy transformation. In this role, you will focus on enhancing the productivity and experience of developers by introducing automation, developer-friendly workflows, and scalable tooling solutions. The mission is to eliminate bottlenecks, provide a seamless developer environment, and foster innovation.

What You’ll Achieve:

• Develop robust automation frameworks and long-term plans to improve developer workflows and experiences.
• Address immediate developer efficiency pain points while also planning medium- and long-term improvements.
• Work on KPI-driven solutions by analyzing agile metrics and developer-specific performance indicators.
• Build mechanisms for measuring developer happiness using both qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics such as sprint satisfaction scores.
• Collaborate deeply with engineering teams to design, test, and standardize development processes across the organization.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 1 year of strong hands-on experience in Python development with advanced object-oriented design.
• Solid background in designing and maintaining modular, scalable systems.
• Strong unit testing and TDD expertise using frameworks like pytest.
• Proficiency in Git and collaborative development practices (PRs, code reviews).
• Experience with RESTful API development (desirable).
• Exposure to relational and NoSQL databases, especially PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Bonus: Experience using AI agentic frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to evaluate developer KPIs and improve workflows.
• Good communication and documentation skills for cross-team collaboration.
